This week, June 21 to 25, 2010, I have the pleasure of attending a doctoral seminar on Social Networks and Learning. It is sponsored by the Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute at Athabasca University “to advance the conversation around current and future research.” The facilitators are Terry Anderson and George Siemens.
Presenting the central question about why participants are attending, it can be distilled to, “What are the research questions, concerns, and opportunities around network learning?” The topic has interested researchers from around the world, as we have representation from Scotland, Armenia, Sweden, Australia, China, Portugal, USA, and Canada. Wow! Some of the session is being captured on Twitter with the tag #SNR10 (for social network research 2010).
